About the event
Come hear stories from those who were there when Leeds Queer Film Festival began. In a discussion facilitated by our own organiser and historian about town Kit Heyam, panellists Ingi, Rudy and Len will share their memories of the earliest festivals in squats around the city. Expect some baffling and hilarious early footage, along with a fascinating discussion of where we came from and where we're going, and how we've managed to keep true to our DIY roots.
