Queer Ceilidh Fundraiser

Friday 10th March 2023 from 7pm
at Rainbow Junktion
All Hallows, 24 Regent Terrace, Leeds LS6 1NP

Come along for a night that will put the FUN into Fundraiser!

We're hosting this event to fundraise for X, a longstanding LQFF organiser whose houseboat Fleur is in need of various repairs and is no longer habitable. X is a beloved member of our community who is in crisis and we hope that we can raise some money to help save their home.

There will be delicious vegan food, a pay-what-you-can bar, a raffle with amazing prizes and of course lots of dancing!

Doors open at 7pm for food and drink.

At 8pm we have a QUEER CEILIDH*
Caller Lisa will walk you through the steps - who cares if you have two left feet, absolutely no prior experience needed. Come fling your thing round the dance floor. Merriment and mayhem til late!

Tickets on the door - Pay What You Can
Cash or Card payment available.

-----

*Originally the word Ceilidh (pronounced kay-lee) descended from the Gaelic word for ‘gathering’ or ‘party’… However, these days when people think of a Ceilidh, they think of a fun-filled night of wild dancing, good music and great company.

We have also set up an online fundraiser if you are able to contribute.

We know that during the cost of living crisis financial donations are a big ask and X would never want people to donate who were struggling themselves. If you can put something towards saving Fleur, remember that every little helps and if you have any wealthy friends you could share this with, even better!
